This week, Wayne County Public Schools officially released “Connections!”, an e-newsletter intended to highlight positive happenings in schools and across the district.

“We want our school district stakeholders to feel connected and in the know about our schools,” states Ken Derksen, Communications & Public Relations Officer. “Every day, there are great things happening in our virtual and face-to-face classrooms. ‘Connections!’ will help shine a light on students and staff and share information that may be important to our various school communities.”

“Connections!” will be shared via email, the district’s social media channels, and the district website on a regular basis. It will also be shared with local media outlets for their awareness. Community members wishing to be added to the recipient group can go to http://www.waynecountyschools.org/ and click on “Connections!” under the Community Resources tab.
