Deeper Life Church Ministries, 900 Eleventh Street, Goldsboro, NC, will host a Thanksgiving dinner giveaway for the community this Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 12 noon- 2pm or until the last box of food has been distributed. This Thanksgiving giveaway of non-perishable food is in alignment with the Deeper Life Church Ministries mission — Teach, Reach, Love and Serve the people. DLCM and its members are thankful for many things including being among the living.
DCLM’s Pastor took it a step further. “This Thanksgiving will be like one we have never experienced before,” stated Dr. Aaron McNair, II, Sr. Pastor of DLCM. “Holidays are typically difficult because of loss of love ones, jobs, relationships, loneliness, etc. This years’ experience of Thanksgiving and Christmas is compounded with the pandemics of COVID-19, economic hardships, and institutional racism. It is our desire and honor to lighten the burden of our members and the community in which we serve by ensuring they have food to eat on Thanksgiving.”
Each Thanksgiving giveaway box includes yams, corn, potato flakes, mac n cheese, string beans, stuffing mix, gravy, rice, cranberry sauce, and meat.
DLCM’s Outreach Ministry will also have persons available to talk with those who desire to discuss their relationship with Christ. Pastor McNair acknowledged that DLCM ministers to the whole person which not only includes their physical needs but one’s spiritual condition as well.
