Wayne Country Day Set To Host First Cancer Try-Run

Some Wayne Country Day Students are putting together a unique event to support cancer patients undergoing treatment.

The first Wayne Country Day Cancer Try-Run will occur on Saturday, Nov. 21st, at 10:00 a.m. at Wayne Country Day. There will be a mud run, a spartan run and a color run, which are all 5ks. There is also an option to walk/run a 3k, which will include only the color run.

Additionally, there will be raffle prizes, food trucks and more during and after the races. All proceeds will go to support cancer patients in Wayne County and surrounding areas.

The price for each person is $25, but $100 for a team of six. Every person who signs up will receive a T-shirt. Contact Wayne Country Day cross country coach Robert Glass ([email protected]) to register for the event.
