Beverly Powell Bragg, age 53, passed away early Sunday morning at her home. Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late O’Max Gardner Powell and Shirley Thornton Powell. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Powell and a nephew, Bailey Lynch. Beverly was a Financial Administrator with G&M Sales/Johnson Murphy Construction for 23 years and attended The First PH Church in Goldsboro.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm at The First Church with Pastor Bill Rose officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the church.

Beverly is survived by her daughters, Brooke Fitch and husband, Craig and Jennifer Tolar and fiancée, Jody Letchworth; her twin sister, Kim Powell and sisters, Sabrina Mitchell and husband, Andy, and Bonnie Hawkins; her brothers, Larry Powell, Mike Powell, Jay Powell and wife, Kim; a granddaughter, Kayleigh Hope Letchworth and several nieces and nephews.
