Aaron Luther Carver, 76, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Sutton’s Rest Home.
Aaron was born in Fayette County, West Virginia on May 30, 1944 to the late Aaron Ray Carver and Geraldine Pennington Carver. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years of service as a Master Sergeant. Aaron was a member of Community Baptist Church.
A service to celebrate Aaron’s life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Community Baptist Church in LaGrange with Pastor Jeremy Varner officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the church. A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Linda Blevins Carver; daughter, Jeannie Thomas and husband Troy; son, Aaron Michael Carver and wife Lori of Pikeville; grandchildren, Emily Thomas, Garrett Thomas and wife Kayla, Lauren Carver, and Aaron Carver Jr. and wife Amanda; and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters, Lorraine Bowles and husband Don, Lorray Willis and husband Ray, and Sherry Legg and husband Dennis.
Memorials may be given in Aaron’s memory to Community Baptist Church, 501 S. Charles Street, LaGrange, NC 28551.
