On Monday, officers with the Goldsboro Police Department Gang Suppression Unit and Selective Enforcement Unit were investigating a drug offense in the parking lot of the Econo Lodge on the 700 block of Corporate Drive.  35-year-old Scott A. Cochrane of Dudley was arrested as a result of the investigation. He was charged with:

• Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony)
• Resist, Delay and Obstructing an Investigation (Misdemeanor)
• 2nd Degree Trespass (Misdemeanor)

Cochrane was given a $3,500 secured bond, and he was then transferred to the custody of the Wayne County Jail.
