A Wave of Light event was held on Thursday evening in Goldsboro.

Parents and loved ones gathered, released balloons and lanterns, lit candles, and enjoyed light refreshments.

It was an opportunity to join with bereaved parents, families and friends around the globe to commemorate all babies who sadly died too soon.

Wave of Light is a global event in memory of all the babies who lit up the lives of parents and loved ones for such a short time.

The Goldsboro event was organized by Lashanda Lofton and Cherise Owens.

There is a banner on the corner of Ash and Lionel Street for those who’d like to stop by and take pictures in remembrance of their loved one.
