Rachel Waters Holland, 87, of Princeton passed away at her home on Thursday, October 8, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born January 8, 1933 to the late Joe Waters and Hester Langley Waters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Waters.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations, 105 E. 1st Street, Princeton, NC 27569.

The funeral will be held in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations at 4:00 pm, on Sunday, October 11, 2020 with the Reverend Andy Stovall officiating. The committal will be immediately following the service in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 US Hwy 70 West, Princeton, NC 27569.

Rachel is survived by sons, Stan Holland (Joyce) of Smithfield and Steve Holland (Wanda) of Greenville; daughter, Sherry Merryfield (Paul) of Goldsboro; brothers, Glenn Waters of Nahunta, and Dwight Waters (Rose) of Princeton; sisters, Joyce Newcomb of Goldsboro and JoAnne Taylor of Nahunta; 7 grandchildren, Billy, Heather, Nichole, Crystal, Jeffrey, Candis and Danielle, and 10 great-grandchildren, Daniel, Payne, Raegan, Lauren, Elizabeth, Lily, Vanessa, Bryson, Zoey, and Gavin.
