Due to the high amount of cleaning and sanitizing associated with reopening classrooms for in-person learning, United Way of Wayne County, Wayne County Chamber of Commerce and Communities Supporting Schools have partnered to hold a cleaning supply drive to benefit all Wayne County Public Schools.
Geoff Hulse appeared on Jeff Farrow’s Morning Show on Goldsboro’s Greatest Hits 1150 and 98.3 to talk about the drive.
Hulse says the effort will help alleviate some of the stress for teachers and staff while ensuring students stay safe and healthy.
Items needed include:
- paper towels
- disposable Dixie cups
- cleaning rags
- sanitizing wipes
- hand sanitizer
The cleaning supply drive is being held through October 9th.
Donations can be dropped off at Southern Wayne High School, Charles B. Aycock High School and Goldsboro High School.
