Pig in the Park is back!
After having to reschedule the event from earlier this year due to the pandemic, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wayne County are preparing for their annual barbecue fundraiser.
Jacqueline Kannan, the Development Director for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wayne County, appeared on Jeff Farrow’s Morning Show on Goldsboro’s Greatest Hits 1150 and 98.3.
Kannan says this year’s Pig in the Park is still a sanctioned North Carolina Pork Council cook-off event with 15 teams cooking up the ‘cue.
Pig in the Park is being held from 11 AM – 4 PM on Saturday, October 17th at the Boys and Girls Club, 1401 Royall Avenue in Goldsboro.
COVID-19 protocols will be in place for the drive-thru barbecue plate sale.
