This Tuesday, September 22, the Wayne County Public Library will join other libraries across the state in celebrating National Voter Registration Day, a nonpartisan civic holiday and cross-country effort to assist voters in registering to vote.
From 10 AM until 1 PM on Tuesday, the Library will join with the local chapter of the League of Women Voters to engage and register voters at the Goldsboro Library.
While potential voters can register at any time, by mail or online, before October 9th to vote in the 2020 elections, the Wayne County Public Library will provide a space for patrons without regular access to the Internet to register for the first time or update their registration so they can participate in the upcoming elections.
