Ann McArthur Adams, resident of the Seven Springs area, passed away Saturday night, September 19, 2020, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

She was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson McArthur and Leona Davenport McArthur and the widow of John William Adams. She was a member of the Seven Springs Baptist Church. While she was a homemaker and farmer’s wife, she also was a teacher’s assistant at Carver Elementary School.

Mrs. Adams is survived by a sister, Grace McArthur, of the home; a brother, Garry Dean McArthur and his wife, Brenda, of Fremont; a niece, Brooke Boyd Tieken and husband, Bryan, of Goldsboro; and two great-nephews, Cole and Cas Boyd.

A gathering for family and friends will be Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 4 until 6 p.m. at Kilpatrick Homestead Farm, 2495 NC Hwy. 55 East, Mount Olive (the home of Tom and Iris Kilpatrick.)

Graveside funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Ashley Summerlin, will be Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 2 p.m. at Pineview Cemetery.
