Heavy Rain Expected As Sally Remnants Head Toward N.C.

The remnants of Hurricane Sally may impact the local area by the end of the week.  Sally is making landfall Wednesday along the northern Gulf coast.  The storm will then turn and head toward the east, potentially arriving in the Carolinas during the weekend.  Locally, the National Weather Service is predicting the remnants of Sally may dump up to two-inches of rain in the Goldsboro area.  The exact timing and amount of rain is still uncertain at this time.
