On Friday, members of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team pulled a vehicle over for a Chapter 20 violation in Pikeville.  During the stop, illegal narcotics were reportedly found on the driver, 32-year-old James L. Barnes, III of Fremont.  Barnes was arrested on charges of:

• Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Methamphetamine
• Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Heroin
• Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule IV
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

His bond was set at $30,000.
