The Wayne County Board of Education Friday afternoon held a special meeting to discuss the schools reopening status.

After several hours of debate and multiple motions, the board was at an impasse.  Since no favorable motions were passed, the result is the Board will revert back to what they voted on at their August 5th meeting, which was to start back on Plan B on September 8th.

Vice Chair Jennifer Strickland seemed to sum up everyone’s frustrations when she said “This is a mess…all the way around.”
