As of Friday, the Wayne County Health Department has received notification of 2,690 total positive cases of COVID-19. 108 of these cases have been attributed to congregate living facilities and 2,129 are cases from outside any type of congregate facility. 2,408 of the 2,690 individuals who tested positive are now considered recovered, leaving an estimated total of 237 cases that are currently active in Wayne County.

The Health Department received notice of one additional death this week. This individual was in their mid-60s with underlying medical conditions. This death was not attributed to a congregate care facility. The total number of deaths in Wayne County is currently 45.
