Members of Beekeepers of the Neuse were busy Saturday morning selling jars of locally grown honey at Waynesborough Park in Goldsboro. The event took place under a tent that was set up in the parking area. This was the weekend that the National Honeybee Day would have typically been held, but due to the COVID-19, the event was cancelled. Although the main event had to be cancelled, people still stopped by to purchase several jars of locally grown honey.
