Around 8 AM Tuesday morning, officers with the Kinston P.D. responded to a small wooded area between the 500 block of Beasley Street and E. Gordon Street.  The officers found a deceased female.  The age and identity of the female were not immediately known.  The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the case.  The KPD plans to provide further information on the case as details emerge.
