Sandy Amoros Jackson, 64, of 1370 Parkstown Road, LaGrange, transitioned peacefully on Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

He was born on November 15, 1955 in Wayne County to Milton Parks and Vernell Jackson.

His musical legacy and  service to God  will be celebrated Saturday at 2 PM at the United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, Kinston NC. His mortal remains will be laid to rest in the Old Mill Cemetery.

Precious memories are held dear by his wife, Iris Jackson, of the home; his daughters, Nashauna Haddock of Winterville, NC, Tiffany Hopkins of Rocky Mt, NC, Stephanie Williams of Durham, NC  and Erica Jackson of Cleveland , OH; his son, Tellis Williams of LaGrange, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Jackson will lie in repose at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
