Saturday afternoon, firefighters from Indian Springs and Wayne County EMS Station 1 responded to the scene of a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Arrington Bridge Road and Indian Springs Road. Two patients from one of the vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. One vehicle remained in the roadway after the collision, while the other vehicle veered off the side of the road and came to a stop. Due to the highway being blocked, firefighters set up traffic control at the intersection. The accident is under investigation by the State Highway Patrol. No other information was available at the scene.
