United Way Prepares For Community Campaign, Taste Of Wayne

The coronavirus pandemic won’t stop the United Way from continuing its mission of assisting the community.

Sherry Archibald, the Executive Director of the United Way of Wayne County, appeared on Jeff Farrow’s Morning Show and says she expects good deals with this year’s Taste of Wayne coupon books.

The “Taste Passports” will offer deals at dining establishments around the area, and will be good through the end of the year.

Archibald also took the opportunity to introduce Ashlee Fritz, who has just been named the new Resource Development Director for the local United Way.

Fritz says the United Way didn’t want to miss celebrating the 30th anniversary of Taste of Wayne.

Fritz acknowledged this year’s Community Campaign will look a little different due to COVID-19.

Taste of Wayne coupon books are set to go on sale starting September 1st, and the United Way of Wayne County’s 2020 Community Campaign kicks off August 18th.
