Louise Parrish Grice, 73, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 while surrounded by her family at home.

Louise was born in Wayne County on April 26, 1947 to the late Weldon Parrish and Esther Collier Beasley. She had been employed with Americal in Goldsboro.

Louise loved to laugh and her laugh was infectious. She overcame obstacles in her life. Louise was never afraid to share her experiences with others so that they could learn from her life.

A service celebrating Louise’s life will be held by the graveside on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in Wayne Memorial Park with Brad Collier officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.

Louise is survived by her husband, Michael Grice; daughter, Dena Grice of Goldsboro; sister, Pauline Smith of Goldsboro; brother, Weldon “Buddy” Parrish and wife Kaye of Grantham; and several nieces and nephews she loved very much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-sister, Anne Willard; and step-brothers, Needham Beasley and Ray Beasley.
