Patsy Wilkins Kelly, 81, died peacefully Saturday morning, July 18, at the home of her daughter in Bolivia, NC. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Taylor and husband, Joseph of Bolivia, NC; and her son, Stanley Kelly, Sr. and wife Becky of Mount Olive. She is also survived by her sisters; Lola Nan Murphy of Pink Hill, Jean Herring and Shirley Herring, both of Mount Olive; three grandchildren, Brandon Taylor and his wife Angie, Ralph Kelly and his wife Jaime, and Stanley Kelly, Jr., and his wife Amber; six great-grandchildren, Jackson and Zachary Taylor, and Luke, Brady, Andrew, and Kaylyn Kelly. Mrs. Patsy was also survived by a special friend, Ada Jones; she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Kelly; her parents, Luther and Lola Taylor Wilkins; brothers, John Wilkins, Arch Wilkins, Leamon Wilkins, and Paul Wilkins; and a sister Clara Mae Barwick.

Mrs. Patsy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Mount Olive Ward. She’ll be remembered as a loving mother, and grandmother who was devoted to her family. She loved her flowers, cooking those country meals, putting up vegetables, and taking care of others.

A Service to celebrate Patsy’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 21, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive. Brother Brent Heath will be the Speaker. The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 2pm, and at other times at the home of her son Stanley, Sr.; 851 Norwood Ezzell Road, Mount Olive. Committal will follow the service in Maplewood Cemetery.
