On July 7, a member of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team conducted a traffic stop on Airport Road in Pikeville for a Chapter 20 violation. During the investigation, illegal narcotics were reportedly located. 23-year-old Raequan Spencer of Stantonsburg and 29-year-old Ashely B. Radford of Wilson were arrested for Possession of Heroin.  Bond was set at $2,500 unsecured for each suspect.  Spencer and Radford were turned over to Wayne County Detention Center staff for processing.
