Wilber’s Barbecue Reopens For Curbside Service

Wilber’s is once again serving up that famous Eastern North Carolina whole hog barbecue.  After closing in 2019, the iconic Wilber’s Barbecue on Highway 70 in Goldsboro has reopened for curbside service.  Wilber’s is currently only offering a limited menu – including their whole hog barbecue, and mainstays like slaw, potato salad and hushpuppies – all available to go.  The local barbecue joint plans to fully reopen and welcome customers inside their newly restored building as soon as safely possible.  Wilber’s Barbecue has been a destination for barbecue fans across the country since 1962.  Thanks to a group of investors named Goldpit Partners, Wilberdean Shirley’s old-fashioned approach to cooking whole hog has been resurrected.
