Wayne County has recorded over 2,000 cases of coronavirus.  According to Tuesday’s update from Wayne County Government, there have been 2,051 total positive cases of COVID-19 in the county.

While that total keeps rising, the number of active cases is slowly shrinking.  As of Tuesday, there were an estimated 219 active cases of COVID-19 in the county.  There was an estimated 227 active cases as of Friday.

Wayne County has recorded 32 coronavirus-related deaths, with two more COVID-19 deaths added since Friday.
