Penny Margaret Mobley Wiggs, 57, of Pikeville passed away on Tuesday at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. She was the daughter of  the late Alton Bruce Mobley and Margaret E. English, and was the wife of Steve Wiggs. She was a loving person, who enjoyed taking care of people.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Elbert Hollowell officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.  Committal services will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.

In addition to her husband of 38 years, Penny is survived by her children, Elizabeth  Wiggs of Kinston and Matthew Wiggs and wife, Stephanie of LaGrange; a sister, Sheila Custer and husband, Ricky of Goldsboro; a granddaughter, Jazmin Bottarro; her mother in law, Hilda Hawkins; and father in law, Orben Wiggs.

In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Hobbs and a brother, Johnny Mobley.
