Although the weather was hot Saturday morning, it didn’t stop 7-year-old Madison Thornton from coming out with her mom to watch her firefighting dad, Wes Thornton, take part in the fire training exercise in Grantham. Wes is a member of the Grantham Fire Department, and he is his daughter Madison’s hero.
