Hundreds of residents continue to utilize the free COVID-19 testing being offered in Wayne County. On Tuesday and Thursday this past week, the Wayne County Health Department again teamed with Wayne UNC Health Care to offer free coronavirus testing for the community, this time at Spring Creek Middle School in Seven Springs. 147 tests were administered on Tuesday and 146 residents took advantage of the free testing on Thursday. The Wayne County Health Department report 627 total tests have been administered over the four days of free testing that began on June 30th at the GWTA Transfer Station in Goldsboro. Additional testing sites are planned for Grantham and Pikeville later this month.
