Hearing Set To Determine Foster’s Residency

A hearing next week will attempt to determine the residency of a candidate for the Wayne County Board of Commissioners.

After the election protest filed against Bevan Foster was initially dismissed by the Wayne County Board of Elections, the board will now hold a full evidentiary hearing regarding Foster’s residence.  That’s after the State Board of Elections instructed the local board to hold that full hearing.

The evidentiary hearing will be held at 9 AM on Tuesday, July 7th in the Board of Commissioners Room at the Wayne County Courthouse.  The meeting will streamed on waynegov.com.

Foster won the March 3rd Democratic Primary Election for the District 3 Commissioner seat.  However, the election protest filed by Linda Lamm Harper, Zachary Edward Lilly and Joy Brown alleges Foster does not live at his registered District 3 address of 610 Deveraux Street in Goldsboro.
