City Provides Info On Past Due Utility Accounts

Goldsboro water and sewer customers have about one more month of leeway if they’ve had trouble paying their utility bills.

In a letter to residents, the city says customer account disconnections for nonpayment have been suspended until July 29th, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The city is also not imposing any new penalties for late payments or collecting on penalties that were imposed on residential accounts as of March 31st through July 29th.

Normal usage fees still apply for the utility services received.
