It appears the Neuse River near Goldsboro may not quite reach flood stage.  Following heavy rains last week, the Neuse River has been rising quickly.  However, the Tuesday morning forecast from the National Weather Service shows the Neuse River near Goldsboro cresting just below 17-feet today, which is still below the Action Stage or Minor Flood Stage.

Nearby, the Neuse River in Kinston is in Minor Flood Stage with the river expected to crest around 15-feet late Wednesday or early Thursday.  A Flood Warning is in effect in Lenoir County.
