Proclamation Honors Goldsboro Salvation Army Leaders

It’s the final week with the current leadership at the Salvation Army of Goldsboro.

Captains Sherrie and Phillip Stokes will be leaving the local Salvation Army following services on Sunday, June 21.

They’ll be heading to their new post in Hendersonville in Western North Carolina.

Goldsboro Mayor Chuck Allen has proclaimed today, Monday, June 15th, as “Phillip and Sherrie Stokes Day” in the city.

The Stokes came to Goldsboro in 2016.

Captains J.B. and Stephanie Blevins will be the new leaders of the Salvation Army of Goldsboro starting Monday June 22nd.
