The Goldsboro Family YMCA Child Care Center hosted a “Drive Thru” Preschool Graduation for its 2020 grads on Saturday. The Goldsboro Fire Department was on-hand to assist the event. The firefighters brought their truck, ran the lights and also assisted preschool staff with handing out gifts to the 15 graduates and cheering the kids on for their graduation.  The graduation is typically hosted inside with a program of music by the children and the children walking down the aisle to receive their diploma. However, the YMCA made different plans to recognize the kids this year in light of COVID-19.
