The Patetown Volunteer Fire Department will be conducting mandated five year flow testing on fire hydrants in the southern part of the Patetown Fire District during the remaining month of June.

Areas affected include:

• Stoney Creek Church Road
• Mt. Carmel Church Road
• Forehand Road
• Lancaster Road
• Daw Pate Rd
• Hwy. 111N. from Stoney Creek Church to Lancaster Rd.

This maintenance will include flushing the sediments from the water lines. Residents may experience temporary reduced water pressure and discoloration of the water during the testing of hydrants near their location, but the water will remain safe for consumption.  The Patetown Fire Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
