Memorial Day Traffic Stop Leads To Meth-Dealing Charges

Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office pulled a vehicle over in the northwest area of the county on Monday.  During the stop, 46-year-old Daniel M. Stocks of Goldsboro was allegedly found to be in possession of meth.  He was arrested and charged with Maintaining a Vehicle for the Use of Controlled Substances, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine.  Stocks was given a $10,000 secured bond and he was placed into the Wayne County Detention Center.
