City Manager Provides COVID-19 Update

Employee safety and wellness continue to be a top concern as Goldsboro moves forward during the coronavirus pandemic.  Goldsboro City Manager Tim Salmon provided an update this week on the city’s policies, procedures and practices in light of COVID-19.  As part of the update, Salmon says the city has provided appropriate personal protective equipment for employees in accordance to guidance by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.  The city manager also says the city continues to use a telework administrative procedure for employees that can complete some or all of their work remotely.  Salmon says, as city facilities are reopened to the public, highly visited areas will be cleaned multiple times a day.
