Juveniles Charged For Two Business Break-Ins

On April 1st, the Goldsboro Police Department took a report of a breaking and entering and larceny that occurred at the Marathon Gas Station located on the 1900 block of E. Ash Street. Several male subjects broke into the business and stole large quantities of merchandise.

On April 14th, another break-in was reported at the Dollar General on the 2200 block of E. Ash Street. The suspects fled after the alarm activated. After reviewing surveillance video, the GPD determined it was the same suspects who broke into the Marathon Gas Station on April 1st.

After further investigation by the Goldsboro Police Department Criminal Investigation Division, a 15-year-old and 16-year-old were identified as the suspects on April 23rd. Juvenile petitions were filed with the Department of Juvenile Justice. The two suspects were both charged with two counts of Breaking and Entering, Larceny, and Possession of Stolen Goods.  Both juveniles are currently awaiting adjudication.
