The Berkeley Mall in Goldsboro is planning to reopen to the public this weekend. The local mall closed in the evening of March 21st, and has stayed closed since due to the coronavirus crisis. Now, the Berkeley Mall says it will reopen for business on Saturday, May 9th. As it reopens, Berkeley Mall says it remains committed to the health and safety of its customers. Reopening Notice to Berkeley Mall Customers
Gov. Roy Cooper’s “Stay-at-Home” order is currently scheduled to expire on Friday, May 8th. If all goes as planned, the state is planning to reopen its economy in phases. Residents will have more reasons they’ll be allowed to leave the home and more businesses will be allowed to reopen for customers.
