This Thursday night, April 30, WCPS high schools will be turning on their stadium lights at 8:20 PM, or 2020 Military Time, as part of a local “Athletic Lights Night”. Wayne County Public Schools says the lights will be turned on for approximately 20 minutes to recognize  its senior athletes and to show special appreciation to those seniors who were unable to take the field for Spring sports due to the statewide closure of school campuses and the NCHSAA cancelation of interscholastic athletics.
