Wayne County’s Unemployment Ticks Down In August
Wayne County’s unemployment rate dropped a couple of points in August. According to Wednesday’s figures from the N.C. Department of Commerce, Wayne County’s seasonally unadjusted jobless rate dropped to 4.7% last month. That’s down from the 4.9% unemployment rate recorded in July.
