UPDATE: Goldsboro Police Expand Search Efforts for Missing 21-Year-Old Tra’sond McNeil

Goldsboro, N.C. — The Goldsboro Police Department continues its search for missing 21-year-old Tra’sond Marquail McNeil, who was first reported missing on November 10, 2025. McNeil was last seen on November 8 in the 600 block of Sherard Court. He is described as a Black male, 5’10,” and was last known to be wearing light blue jeans, blue and white shoes, and a black hooded sweatshirt.

New Search Operation Planned

As part of the ongoing investigation, the Goldsboro Police Department announced a significant development. On November 20, 2025, officers with Goldsboro PD will conduct a joint operation with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office in the southern part of Wayne County. Officials say the coordinated search effort is aimed at gathering additional information that may help locate McNeil.

The Investigative Services Bureau continues to urge the public to come forward with any information that may assist in the case.
