November 10, 2025, 72, Princeton –

Wade Earl Martin, 72, of Princeton passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Providence Assisted Living in Smithfield.  He was born in Wayne County on October 26, 1953 to the late Walter Gideon and Lorraine Thompson Martin.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dwight Martin and Gerald Martin.

Wade is survived by nephews, Rodney Martin and wife, Lisa and Robert Heller of Princeton; great nephews, Josh, Aaron and Colton; and great niece, Hailey.

Wade previously lived in Princeton on Progressive Church Road with his parents. He loved fishing and being outside.  Wade loved to eat, he especially loved his snacks and a Mountain Dew.  He loved his family very much and enjoyed all of their visits.  

The family would like to thank the staff of Providence Assisted Living for the wonderful care and love they gave Wade as well as the friends and family that visited him. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations of Princeton.

The funeral will follow at 7:00 pm on Friday, November 14, 2025 in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations with Pastor Dennis Pollock officiating.  The committal will be on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 2:00 pm in Princeton Cemetery.
