Juanita Lynne Gurganus, 63, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at UNC Wayne Healthcare in Goldsboro. Juanita was born in Wayne County on January 18, 1962, to Peggy Parks and the late Giles Ray Gurganus.

Juanita dedicated over 17 years of her career as a sales associate with Sears in Goldsboro, where she was known for her commitment to helping others. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, her love for family, and her ability to find joy in everyday moments.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home for a time of visitation and reflection as they remember and celebrate Juanita’s life.

In addition to her mother, Peggy, Juanita is survived by her daughter, Monica Arbuckle; her special partner, David Grant; her sisters, Yolanda Williams and Teresa Short; and several nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
