Wayne County, NC – The following schedule changes will be taking place this week in observance of Veterans Day:

• County of Wayne Government Offices closed Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Offices will reopen Wednesday, November 12, 2025, for normal business hours.
• All branches of the Wayne County Public Library closed Tuesday. Library branches will be open on Wednesday for normal business hours.
• The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Tuesday. The Senior Center will be open Wednesday for normal business hours.
• The Wayne County Animal Shelter will be closed Tuesday. The Animal Shelter will be open Wednesday for normal business hours.
• The Wayne County Landfill and convenience centers will be closed Tuesday. The landfill and convenience centers will be open Wednesday for normal business hours.
