GOLDSBORO, NC – Communities Supporting Schools (CSS) is inviting community members to become Reading Buddy volunteers and help make a difference in the lives of local students.

Volunteers are asked to commit just 30 minutes or more each week to read with the same child throughout the school year. The program serves students at Carver Heights Elementary, Carver Elementary, Brogden Primary, and North Drive Elementary.

The program aims to build confidence and improve literacy skills by connecting caring adults with young readers in the community.
