Williams was a graduate of Goldsboro High School and was a retired auditor with the Internal Revenue Department. She was a member of the Woodmen of the World Lodge #1319 and an active member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Surviving are her stepdaughters: Ramona J. Ward and Kaye Jenkins both of Columbia, TN. Sister-in-law, Hazel Williams along with numerous nieces and nephews including special nephew Jeffrey Willliams of Goldsboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Nettie Mozingo Williams and Leslie Albert Williams. Her siblings: Pauline W. Shafer of Goldsboro, Leslie M. Williams of Spartanburg, SC, J.M. “Joe” Williams of Hanahan, SC, Arthur C. Williams, Albert Williams Jr. of Dudley, Rachel W. Cox of Irmo, SC, Arnold R. Williams of Ladson, SC, Carroll John Williams, Sandra Faye W. Ivey of Benson, Maurice A. Williams (Hazel) of Roebuck, SC as well as her stepdaughter: Melanie Hughes Lovell.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8th at 11 AM, at Emmaus Baptist Church. 714 Emmaus Church Road, Dudley NC. Pastors Rick Mondell and Jim Willoughby will officiate.

A visitation will be held inside Emmaus Baptist Church prior to the burial for family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you contribute to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern, North Carolina 1924 Capital Blvd, Raleigh NC 27604 or to New Birth Ministries of Goldsboro.
