Chad Ryann Thompson, 47, of Kenly, NC passed away, Thursday, October 30, 2025, at UNC Chapel Hill.  He was born August 14, 1978 to Lloyd Maylon Parrish, Jr. and Nancy Jean Thompson Parrish in Johnston County.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparent; Sarah Lee Thompson and maternal grandparents Doris and Maylon Parrish.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm – 6:45pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Casey Funeral Home & Cremations in Princeton.  The funeral service will be at 7:00pm following the visitation with the Reverend Eddie Hatcher and Mac Perry officiating. 

Along with his parents, he is survived by a wife; Crystal Smith Thompson, sons; Kalieb Thompson (Destiny) of the home, Ethan Crumpler of Selma, Zachary Ward of Pikeville, daughters; Courtney Kirkman (Jake) of Raleigh, Delaney Thompson (Marquise) of Louisburg, Gracien Thompson and Madison Thompson both of the home, brother; Richie Parrish (Angela), granddaughter; Amelia Rose Thompson, special friends; Martinous Scarboro, Shane & Katina Eason, Johnny Edgerton, Jason Parrott, Bill Novick, Billy Bradford, and several nieces & nephews.
