WAYNE COUNTY, N.C. — Local animal lovers are invited to enjoy an afternoon of fall fun for a cause at the Pups & Pumpkins fundraiser benefiting Blazin’ Trails Bottle Babies Rescue. The event will take place Saturday, November 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Planet Peace Farm, located at 6121 Forestville Road.
A Day of Fun, Food, and Furry Friends
Guests can look forward to a heartwarming day filled with puppy snuggles, pumpkin painting, photos with friendly farm animals, and delicious lunch. Attendees will also have the chance to win door prizes, all while supporting a local nonprofit that rescues and rehabilitates vulnerable puppies.
“This event is about bringing the community together to celebrate rescue work and give people a hands-on way to help,” said Jules, a Blazin’ Trails Bottle Babies representative.
Supporting a Lifesaving Mission
All proceeds from Pups & Pumpkins go directly toward medical care, food, and essential supplies for the puppies in the rescue’s care. Blazin’ Trails Bottle Babies specializes in caring for orphaned and bottle-fed puppies, ensuring each one has a chance to thrive and find a loving forever home.
“Our mission is simple — to save lives and raise awareness about the importance of adoption,” Jules added. “Every ticket sold helps us cover the costs of giving these little ones a second chance.”
Tickets and Admission Details
Tickets are available now with special early-bird pricing:
- Early Bird (through Oct. 31): $7 per person
- Regular Online Admission (Nov. 1–7): $10 per person
- At the Door: $15 per person
Admission is free for children under 2 and seniors 65 and up.
Tickets are required for all guests ages 2 and older.
