Mega Millions Reaches Historic Levels
Tonight’s Mega Millions drawing features a staggering $680 million jackpot, making it the ninth largest in the game’s history. Winners can choose between the full $680 million paid out as an annuity or an immediate cash payout of $318.2 million.
Powerball Adds to Weekend Excitement
Saturday’s Powerball drawing offers a $344 million jackpot, with winners able to select either the annuity option or a lump sum cash payment of $163.7 million.

Thousands Already Winning Smaller Prizes
While the grand prizes remain unclaimed, North Carolina players continue to win substantial amounts through both games. Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing produced over 12,000 winning tickets across the state, while Wednesday’s Powerball drawing generated more than 15,000 winning tickets.

Players should be aware that the odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot stand at 1 in 290 million, while Powerball odds are 1 in 292 million.
